The Private Alarm Contractor licensing exam is offered three times a year, every February, June and October by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
The next examination is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The deadline for submitting your application to IDFPR is February 04, 2026. However, it is strongly recommended that you get your application into IDFPR sooner than the deadline.

Introduction To Process Serving
The course is a 6 hour seminar to instruct beginner and veteran process servers. The cost of the seminar, which includes our Process Serving in Illinois manual, is $395.00. This is our fifth year of presenting an ever-evolving seminar.
The cost of the class is $395.00 and $195.00 for additional attendees of the same firm.
